Waco Thunder Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide adult athletes with an opportunity to further their football career and inspire them to be role models to our younger generations as well as to be upstanding citizens. We look to provide high quality football entertainment to fans after the High School, NCAA, and NFL football seasons have ended. We strive to be a presence in our community through volunteering and creating fundraising opportunities for other non-profit organizations looking to help the less fortunate.
Gearing up for the 2012 Season we are heading into our 6th Season - Longest tenure of any Minor Pro Football team in Waco, TX. Made Playoffs 4 out of 5 seasons so far, only missing out in our 1st Season in 2007.

The Waco Thunder are proud members of the MPFL Minor Professional Football League - The MPFL has been recognized as a potential source of player talent by The NAIA, as their organization has inquired as to the collegiate eligibilty of MPFL players. The MPFL strives to keep its players eligible, with The NCAA and The NAIA, and encourages players with eligibilty remaining to pursue educational opportunities with these organizations and universities. Whether it's a chance to play in a professional league and get paid to do so, or earn a scholarship based on one's playing ability, The MPFL and The Waco Thunder are 100% behind its players making the most of these career opportunities.
